PSYCHOLOGICAL DIAGNOSTIC UND PSYCHOTHERAPY

Problems and complaints of children and adolescents are diagnosed and treated at the International Child and Adolescent psychotherapeutic Clinic.
Our goal is to help children, adolescents and their environment in all stages of development and life. We also offer counseling for their parents or caregivers and accompany them for the duration of finding a solution to the current problems.

  • PROCEDURE

    1. FIRST INTERVIEW AND PSYCHO-DIAGNOSTIC EXAMINATION
    A first interview takes place either together with the child or separately with the caregiver(s) (lasting approx 45 min.). Following this is a thorough psycho-diagnostic examination is completed.
    2. THERAPY PLANNING
    During the next appointment, the examination results and a treatment plan will be
    discussed with the child or adolescent together with their caregiver(s).
    3. PSYCHOTHERAPY
    We offer many different types, according to what is best for your situation: single setting psychotherapy with the child along with accompanied counseling for the caregiver(s), family psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, or psychotherapy for the parents.
    The clinic is led by experienced psychotherapists, who have special competencies working with children and adolescents.

    COSTS

    The cost of psychotherapy is based according to income. In some cases, the insurance company pays for the cost of psychotherapeutic treatment- for this option, a clinical-psychological examination is a required . The cost of the clinical-psychological examination is refunded up to 80 percent by the social insurance company . In this case, a referral from a specialized doctor is needed.
    Referrals are accepted from pediatricians, neurologists and psychiatrists. An approval from the social insurance company is necessary for referrals from other specialists (or a specialist of general medicine) or psychotherapists.
