SFU Summer School 2007


In 2007 SFU offers an extensive international summer school programme in three different cities.

The SFU summer schools take place from 16 July to 12 August 2007 in

1. Vienna
Language: English

2. Beijing – in co-operation with Beijing University (BeiDa),
Language: Chinese
(For certain lectures translation from Chinese into English will be provided.)

3. Paris
Language: French

The Sigmund Freud University Vienna is pleased to hold its second
International Summer School of Psychotherapy from

16 July to 12 August 2007.

We offer courses at 3 different levels:

• Course A - Basic Studies of Psychotherapy
For beginners and participants without clinical experience

• Course B - Advanced Studies of Psychotherapy
For trainee psychotherapists with some clinical experience

• Course C - Postgraduate Training for Psychotherapists
For psychotherapists requiring further education

Schedule:

Courses A and B: 16 July (opening day) to 12 August (departure day)
Each course comprises a total of 28 days.
Course C: 16 July (opening day) to 29 July (departure day)
The course comprises a total of 14days.
Working days are from Monday to Saturday.

On Sundays there are no courses. Instead we offer a variety of optional study trips to places of interest for psychotherapists such as the Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna, a visit to Graz and Salzburg, and more.


Accommodation:

The SFU International Summer School also provides accommodation on site in the University building. Students can rent a single room for € 500 (€ 250 for Course C) or a double room for € 300 (€ 150 for Course C) per person per course.
Kitchen facilities are provided.

Fees:

The registration will be accepted by a prepayment of € 350 until 29th of June 2007.

Courses A and B: € 1,900,- for participants from Eastern and Central Europe
and non-European countries;
€ 2,800,- for participants from Western and Northern Europe.

Course C: € 950,- for participants from Eastern and Central Europe and non-European countries;
€ 1,400,- for participants from Western and Northern Europe

Advance payment before 1.5.2007 will reduce the fee by € 100,-.
