Studying psychology opens up a wide range of professional opportunities. Working as a psychologist is possible in many professional fields, depending on the specialisation. In order to facilitate orientation, a selection of professional fields will be presented at this event. Psychologists from each SFU branch will present their fields of work and provide an insight into their everyday work. There will be first-hand information as well as room for exchange and questions. Language of presentation will be English.

About the Lecturers

Sabina Valie-Zadeh graduated from SFU Berlin with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2022. Since then, she works for the Drogentherapie Zentrum Berlin and facilitates addiction groups and individual counselling within the correctional facilities in Berlin.

Josephine Jacobi is a critical clinical and forensic psychologist (M.Sc.) who currently holds a research fellow position at the Institute for Developmental Psychology at Sigmund Freud University Berlin. Additionally, she is the team lead of the project on addiction counselling and treatment within the correctional facilities in Berlin.
