This past week has been an exciting and transformative time for everyone involved in the English Doctorate Programme in Psychotherapy Science at SFU. We could welcome fresh faces—new students embarking on their academic journeys—while also celebrating those who are now in the final stages of their PhD, preparing to submit their theses.
This semester, the seminar week was about foundations and methods, delving deeper into philosophy of science, interpretation of quantitative data and hermeneutics.
As usual, the colleagues provided an overview of their theses and the way they had progressed, including the ones soon to finish their doctorate which was a particularly interesting part of the week.
We’re proud of everyone’s hard work and of seeing our students—both new and soon to graduate—make meaningful contributions to the field of psychotherapy science and clinical psychology.
