Welcome to SFU!

As a new employee at SFU, we would like to make your start as interesting as possible. Under the quick links you have direct access to essential tools. For administrative matters, the HR download area offers all the necessary forms. You will also receive support from our service centres, including IT Support, Library and Facility Management. For international perspectives, you can take advantage of the employee mobility programmes offered by the International Office and ERASMUS.

Onboarding

How do you come on board? Your manager and your colleagues are challenged: With targeted preparation and support during the induction period, they can make your start at SFU much easier.

Language courses

For international colleagues with insufficient knowledge of German, we recommend using the language portal. Here you will find free online courses from the ÖIF for learning German. The ÖIF online courses take place daily from Monday to Saturday.
