This degree programme is a foundation course, i.e. it teaches the basics of psychotherapy science. The course duration is six semesters. Upon successful completion, students earn the academic degree Bakkalaurea / Bakkalaureus der Psychotherapiewissenschaft (BA.pth.).
The Master programme in psychotherapy science builds on the Bachelor programme and provides in-depth knowledge of theory, methodology, scientific and research methods and clinical competences. The course duration is four semesters. Upon successful completion, students earn the academic degree Magistra / Magister der Psychotherapiewissenschaft (Mag.pth.).
The doctoral programme in Psychotherapy Science is committed to methodological and research methodological pluralism. Empirical and hermeneutic papers - also in combination - as well as theoretical and historical papers can be written, including critical examination of existing research directions or schools. The duration of the programme is 6 semesters. The academic degree Doktorin / Doktor der Psychotherapiewissenschaft (Dr. scient. pth.) is awarded.
The Bachelor degree programme in psychology is a six-semester (three year) study programme which lays the groundwork for studying psychology. Graduates will be awarded a “Bachelor of Science, BSc.” (180 ECTS).
The four-semester Master’s degree programme in Psychology (MSc.) builds on the knowledge and experiences gained from the Bachelor’s programme in Psychology (BSc.). Graduates will be awarded a “Master of Science, MSc.” (120 ECTS).
The PhD programme offers scientific training in psychology at an international level and prepares graduates for scientific work in the field and/or for representing psychology in teaching and research at university level. This is a six semester programme (180 ECTS), graduates are awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, PhD.

The University Course Master of Public International Law deepens students' knowledge of international law and provides an insight into the activities of international organisations.
The university course “Art Therapy” at Sigmund Freud University Vienna lasts 5 semesters (90 ECTS) and concludes with a Master of Arts (MA). This is a part-time course which is offered on a scientific basis with a practice-oriented perspective.
Art Law is a university course with a certificate degree, and consists of 6 modules that can also be booked individually. A module lasts from Friday 17:00 to Sunday 15:00 and is each dedicated to a major topic from art and cultural law.
The postgraduate program "Lasers in Dentistry" comprises five semesters with 120 ECTS and concludes with a Master Professional (M.Pr.). The course is run in cooperation with the AALZ - World Academy for Laser Education in Dentistry.
