The next Long Night of Research will take place on 24 April 2026, and we were delighted to be part of it again this time! This year’s programme was once again aimed at external visitors as well as staff, teaching staff and students, and their friends and family. In addition to the scientific programme, the LNF is always a good opportunity for informal networking and chatting with our researchers. There are again numerous programme items for children and young people.

The Long Night of Research will take place on 24 April 2026 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at over 250 exhibition venues across Austria. In all nine federal states, you could discover what otherwise often remains hidden with free admission: Join in. Marvel. Discover.
