Dear students,
On 2 May, the Sigmund Freud University Ball will take place at Vienna City Hall under the motto ‘20 years of SFU’. For all those who would like to take part in the opening, we have set up a WhatsApp group as a first step, in which all information (auditions, rehearsal dates, etc.) will then be distributed.
This year’s opening will be choreographed by the WATZEK dance school, with rehearsals primarily taking place at campus or, selectively, at Palais Palffy. The dance school also offers crash courses to learn the basics of ballroom dancing in due time before the ball: watzek.at/tanzschule
The only requirement for participation in the opening is a reasonably confident right-hand waltz. For all those who want to take part but feel not yet confident enough, we may be able to organise a few intensive group lessons with the dance school.
