Campus Messestraße I & II has won one of the Silver – Muse Design Awards in the category Architectural Design!

The Sigmund Freud University Campus Messestrasse I & II is a spacious university area in a new, vibrant quarter in Vienna’s second district. As a new university location of the renowned Sigmund Freud University Vienna, the ensemble’s structural density creates an urban space in dialogue with its surroundings.

An extraordinary and timeless design characterises the campus, which due to its geometry and façade structures forms a tense unity, while the individual buildings stand for themselves both creatively and functionally. The three buildings combine various faculties of human sciences, medicine, dentistry and law, university offices and commercial spaces as well as a boarding house for teachers and students. Both the spatial organisation of the campus as well as the academic and medical infrastructure correspond to international standards and current requirements of university construction projects.

WGA ZT GmbH was responsible for general management and on-site supervision of the project.
