Together with our research co-operation partner MaVida Park Velden, SFU awards the MaVida Research Prize “Ageing Research and/or Dementia Research” for innovative contributions in this field.
All SFU students from the fields of psychotherapy science, psychology and medicine are eligible to submit entries.
On 11 June 2024, the research prize (competition cycle 2023) was awarded for the first time to the following research projects:
- Dr. Dr. med. dent. Wolfgang Denk – Status quo of dental care in Austria’s retirement and nursing homes
- Dr. med. dent. Carolina Galli, BScMed – Descriptive study on the dental care of dementia patients in private practice
- Karin Kostner-Grasemann, BA.pth. – Dementia as a demand on society
- Simone Merkinger, BSc. MSc. BSc (WU) – Neurorehabilitation after stroke
- Annika Marie Schraml, BA.pth. – Age and psychoanalysis – a plea for depth-psychological treatment in old age with a special focus on the dynamics between young and old
