Research & Teaching in Focus: A Dialogue with the Vice Rectors
11 November 2025
The day marked the inaugural event in a new series of dialogue sessions with Vice Rector for Research, Marion Garaus, and Vice Rector for Teaching, Stefan Hampl.
It was an inspiring exchange, full of insightful questions, ideas, and constructive feedback. The vice rectors shared updates on ongoing projects and celebrated achievements – particularly the people behind them. The event opened with recognition of the Pure implementation team, acknowledging their extensive work over the past year. The team was warmly thanked for their substantial efforts in bringing the system to completion.
During the meeting, participants received detailed updates on current initiatives and developments in both teaching and research. Beyond the information shared by the Vice Rectors, the session featured an active and constructive dialogue: numerous questions were addressed, and several suggestions emerged that may inspire future initiatives.
Further events in this series will follow, providing ongoing opportunities for dialogue and collaboration across the university community.
Looking back on the successful kickoff of the dialogue series, the two vice rectors expressed their gratitude: “A heartfelt thank you to all colleagues! Teaching and research are the heart of our university, and we deeply value your dedication, energy, and engagement.”
