Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marlon Possard (https://possard.at/) is an AI Competence Expert and Certified Digital Legal Expert. He conducts research and teaches – alongside Professor Wolfgang Zankl – at the Institute for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence within the Faculty of Law at the Sigmund Freud Private University in Vienna and Berlin (SFU). Since 2024, Dr Possard has headed the Department of Ethics in Artificial Intelligence at the SFU in Vienna and Berlin. He is currently working on his habilitation thesis in the field of constitutive questions of law. Dr Possard is the author of numerous articles and publications on issues relating to law, public administration and ethics. In October 2025, he was awarded the title of Honorary Senator by the Austrian Security Day (ÖST). From 2023 to 2026, he also conducted research and taught at the Research Centre for Administrative Sciences (RCAS) at the University of Applied Sciences, Vienna Campus (HCW).
