holds a professorship in public law at the North Rhine-Westphalia University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration in Münster and is a private lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Münster with authorisation to teach public law, European law, comparative law, church and state-church law. He also works in an advisory capacity ("of counsel") for the law firm Streitbörger, Hamm/Münster. He is a member of the Association of German Teachers of Constitutional Law, the Society for Comparative Law, the German University Association and the German-Hungarian Society Münster.
