Dr Gerald Virtbauer is a religious scholar, psychologist of religion and meditation teacher. He holds a Mag.phil. (Religious Studies) and a Dr.phil. (Psychology) from the University of Vienna, and a European Diploma of Advanced Study in Psychology of Religion from the Université Catholique de Louvain. He is a specialist in Buddhist psychology, Indian psychology, Pali Buddhism, meditation (Buddhist and clinical), and mindfulness (Buddhist and clinical). He does research and teaches internationally (academically and practically) primarily on these subjects.
