Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Zankl (zankl.at) is a former professor and deputy director of the Institute for Civil Law at the University of Vienna and was, among other things, international director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence Law (Tianjin University).
He has given over 500 lectures and presentations on all continents and has now headed the Interfaculty Institute for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence at Sigmund Freud University Vienna and Berlin as a university professor and founding director since October 2024.
Prof. Zankl is also the legal director of the Manz AI Lab, developer, founder and director of the global network for IT law (e-center.eu), the platform checkmycase.com and Foundation Member of the Computer Ethics Society (Hong Kong).
