Sigmund Freud Private University is looking for a new Rector
The position will be advertised throughout the German-speaking world and applications can be submitted until 31 March, 2024. After completing the assessments and hearings as well as an extensive induction phase, the new Rector is expected to take over the leadership by 1 July 2025 at the latest. The current Rector and founder of the SFU, Alfred Pritz, comments:
“In the new development plan, SFU has presented the roadmap for the next six years of its success story. Important milestones have already been achieved, such as the recently signed cooperation agreement with the Vienna Health Association, which will ensure optimal long-term conditions for the current Master’s programme in Human Medicine. Advertising the position of Rector has now also signalled the start of the rejuvenation of the SFU’s staff.”
The term of office is five years, but can be extended by re-election.
