Aside from the Rectorate and the University Council, the Senate is the highest governing body.
Its authorities and duties are regulated by the university’s constitution (VII, 1 to 9).

Members:

Each faculty of the university is represented by

  • one professor
  • one member of the central block of the academic teaching staff
  • one student who is nominated by the committees of the official Austrian Representation of University Students (ÖH).

In addition, the administrational staff nominates three representatives, the outpatient clinic on representative.

Beschlussfassung des Senats vom 01.12.2023:
