After being elected by the Faculty Conference, Univ.-Doz. Christian Joukhadar, MD, was appointed by the Rectorate as the new Dean of the Faculty of Medicine on April 28.
Dr. Joukhadar is an internist and pharmacologist who has taught and conducted research at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, among other institutions. He has directed over 100 clinical trials and published in leading high-impact journals on clinical pharmacology, endocrinology, and infectious diseases. In addition, he has been CEO of numerous companies in the field of medical research, development and diagnostics.
