We are pleased to draw your attention to the current issue of the “Journal for Free Psychoanalytic Research and Individual Psychology“.

Individual psychology at SFU is characterised by a pluralistic attitude and therefore offers manifold possibilities for connecting to the analytical discourse in the German-speaking and international area. These include, above all, drive theory, ego psychology, object relations theory, self psychology and intersubjective or relational currents.
Based on this, the Journal for Free Psychoanalytic Research and Individual Psychology was founded by the heads of the Individual Psychology Department at SFU. The first issue was published in October 2014 and since then two issues of the journal have been published annually, each issue focusing on a specific topic. In addition, reviews of current specialist books are published in each issue.
