Prof. Kurt Huber is Head of the 3rd Med. Dept. with Cardiology and Internal Intensive Care Medicine at the Wilhelminenspital. Vice Dean for Research at the SFU for Medicine. He is an interventional cardiologist with more than 30 years of professional experience, his research area includes vascular biology as well as clinical research (acute coronary syndromes, antithrombotic therapy in cardiovascular diseases). He has been national coordinator
of over 100 international studies. To date, he has published over 700 peer-reviewed articles, his Hirsh Factor is 70 and his life impact factor is over 3500. He has been among the 1% most cited researchers in clinical medicine worldwide since 2015.
