Resume
After studying medicine at the University of
Innsbruck, Prof. Pycha obtained his
specialist qualification at the Urological
University Hospital in Vienna in 1996. In
1998 he received the Venia docendi, and in
1999 he was appointed Associate University
Professor at the University Clinic for
Urology in Vienna. Since 2000, he has been
Primarius of the Urology Department at the
Hospital of Bolzano, and since March 2017,
he has been Full University Professor of
Urology at the Sigmund Freud Private
University of Vienna. He is a member of
various international urological societies
and of the Board of Examiners for the
European Specialist Examination. His main
areas of expertise are uro-oncology,
reconstructive urology and paediatric
urology.
