Received her training in Psychology at the University of Osnabrück, Germany and Monash University, Australia. For her doctoral degree in Psychology she specialized in child development and cross-cultural psychology. Her postgraduate training as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist was completed at the Academy for Psychotherapy and Intervention Research (API) of the University of Potsdam, Germany, where she focused on cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy. Her most recent positions included psychotherapist at the international United Family Hospital in Beijing (China) as well as at a private practice for psychiatry and psychotherapy in Berlin.
