Resume
Prof. Tzou trained as a plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgeon at the Medical University of Vienna (MUW) and Chang Gung Medical University in Taipei-Linkou, Taiwan. Numerous study visits have taken him to the Asan Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea, the Medical University of Tokyo, Japan and Georgetown University, Washington D.C., USA, among others. In 2016, the Medical University of Vienna (MUW) awarded him the venia docendi in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery: Habilitation in Surgical Therapy of Facial Palsy and in 2017, the qualification as Associate Professor. In 2019, the Faculty of Medicine at Sigmund Freud University Vienna (SFU) awarded him Associate Professor. He is currently head of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Divine Saviour Hospital. Prof. Dr. Tzou is a soughtafter lecturer and invited guest at numerous international congresses.
