Human-Friedrich Unterrainer was appointed as professor of psychotherapy science at SFU Vienna in February 2023. He also directs the Center for Integrative Addiction Research (CIAR) at the Grüner Kreis society He is a clinical and health psychologist and psychotherapist (IG, TFP) and worked for many years in a leading position as an inpatient addiction therapist. In 2012 he habilitated for the whole field of Psychology (KFU Graz), in 2016 for Theoretical/Experimental Psychiatry (Med Uni Graz) and in 2021 for Religious Studies (Psychology of Religion) at the University of Vienna. He has been involved in university teaching since 2005 and has led numerous clinical research projects.
