23rd November – Online  |  10 am until 1 pm (Pathways2Resilience)  |  1 pm until 2:30 pm (CLIMAAX)

Would you like to receive customized climate risk analyses for your region/community or support for climate resilience pathways? The CLIMAAX and Pathways2Resilience projects funded under the EU’s “Adaptation to Climate Change” mission offer this opportunity through so-called “Cascading Calls”. More information on the calls and services will be presented at the launch events on November 23rd:

  • As part of the Pathways2Resilience project, keynote speaker Elina Bardram, Director at the Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA), will introduce the topic of how over 150 regions are playing a key role in shaping the resilience of our continent.

This will be followed by an opportunity for discussion and exchange with regional representatives of the signatories of the EU Mission Charter as well as EU policy makers, national governments and climate resilience experts.

In addition, Pathways2Resilience will launch its first call for applications to select regions and communities to receive funding and support services from the program to develop transformative climate resilience strategies and action plans.

Registration is required to attend the event. More information about the event can be found here.

  • The CLIMAAX InfoDay: “Empowering Regions for Climate Resilience” serves as a kick-off for the open call to improve regional climate and emergency risk management plans.

Attendees will receive a comprehensive overview of our project, including Climate Risk Assessments, the CLIMAAX Toolbox, Pilot Regions, and the Open Call including the opportunities it offers.

Registration is required to attend the event. More information about the event can be found here.
