The outstanding doctoral thesis “Quod non videt oculus. On the Conditions of Production of Introspective Research in the 19th and 20th centuries and its Significance Today” by Natalie Rodax, PhD (submitted to the Faculty of Psychology), has received the State Prize “Award of Excellence 2023” from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. This prestigious award, which comes with prize money of 3,000 euros, honours the 40 best dissertations in a wide range of subjects in the 2022/23 academic year.

Natalie Rodax, who is head of the German Bachelor’s degree programme in Psychology at SFU, is setting a significant milestone in her academic career with this award and making a valuable contribution to the research community.
