Prof. Dr. Jutta Fiegl has been reappointed as Dean of the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science at Sigmund Freud University: CONGRATULATIONS!
Prof. Fiegl is a co-founder of SFU and has been Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science since 2005.
Since the mid-90s, Fiegl has been committed to academising the profession and policy with regard to psychotherapeutic care aspects. She has been awarded the Golden Decoration of Merit of Vienna (2008).
Her clinical, teaching therapy and research focus is on gynaecology and obstetrics, psychooncology, reproductive medicine, psychosomatics and sexual disorders; in the field of in vitro fertilisation she is one of the few specialised psychotherapists. Her second field of research is the training of psychotherapists at university.
