On 24th April 2024, SFU Vienna hosted another event of the new #outofthebox workshop series on trauma titled “Experience mapping – exploring the healing power of places in health and transgenerational trauma”.

Throughout the session, participants delved into the transformative potential of physical spaces in the context of health and transgenerational trauma. Prof. Dr. Tamás Martos, clinical health psychologist and professor at the University of Szeged, and Dr. Habil. Viola Sallay, family therapist and assistant professor at the same institution, skillfully navigated through research findings and practical applications, shedding light on the intricate interplay between our environment and psychological well-being. By examining the role of places in healing, participants left with a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding trauma.
